Carly Haffner grew up on the East End of Long Island, New York.
Her paintings are inspired by flora, fauna, seasons- magical moments with nature- and country living.  
Her work is also the culmination of her love of painting itself – elements like palette and composition; and mixing different painting styles and methods.
She lives and works in Sag Harbor, NY. 

Haffner has a BFA from California College of the Arts, San Francisco and an MFA from Hunter College, New York City.
